At this stage in the game, if you haven’t heard of ClassPass, I’d be surprised. I’ve never used it, but I’ve been hearing about it for a few years.

You can buy a monthly membership to ClassPass and it allows you access to different workout spaces and classes. I’ve never tried it, but I just initiated my free trial.

In the last few weeks, I’ve been good about regular exercise, but I want to try some new classes before committing to a studio. My friend shared an opportunity for two weeks free of ClassPass, so I decided to go for it

Signing up for a class was super easy – although resetting my password for the app was not.

There are a ton of different styles of options, locations, and times for classes. You can also sign up for blocks of time in a gym if you’re not interested in a specific class.

As part of my efforts to get to know the town I’m moving to, I decided to check out a local spin studio – which is how I found Fit Life Melrose. I recently did a spin class on a bachelorette party and very nearly died which I felt like was a great workout.  I’m gathering up all of my courage to go to this class alone, but keeping my fingers crossed. I’ve also signed up for a yoga class at this same studio, which is more my energy level at the current moment.

You may have read my post about being great before eight, but I’m sad to report it was a short-lived morning workout life. But – with my ClassPass in hand – I’m joining a friend at a 6am yoga class on Thursday. Hopefully I make it – actually, one benefit of ClassPass is that you get charged if you miss the course you’ve signed up for without canceling in a timely manner. So, I guess I have to go to spin tonight…

I’ll let you know how it goes.
