But if the white runs out, I’ll drink the red!

I’m not sure who came up with that little quote, but I agree! And if the red runs out we’ll toast with something else!

I love a cold glass of prosecco, but the holidays call for some festive drinks!

If you’re still putting together your menu, here are some adult beverages you might consider:

As a lifelong eggnog fan- a contentious issue I know – adding a bit of booze makes it even more magical. Add some bourbon, and a dash of cinnamon, and you’ve got yourself a night! Start with a shot of bourbon per eggnog serving and then flavor to taste!
Putting together a hot toddy batch is a really easy recipe for entertaining. Start in a pot or in a crockpot – add bourbon, water, cinnamon sticks, cloves, a bit of lemon and honey – and you’ll instantly feel like you’re snuggled up under a Christmas tree. If you’re lucky, you will be!
Baileys on ice or with coffee is truly an under-appreciated drink. If you’re hosting brunch or dinner that will have a coffee bar, make it a bit more festive by adding baileys! Add to your coffee as you would a creamer, or just pour a small glass and toss in some ice.
My personal favorite is cranberry mimosas – you can also get the same effect with pink lemonade. You can whip up a batch of the easily – add seltzer, vodka, and mint if you’re feeling adventurous. One to one ratio for the liquids! If you’re sticking with the cranberry, be sure to have real cranberries out for your guests to top with.

As always, 21 and older for these recipes!
